Re: passport. Do you get an option to have a "passport card," a credit card sized passport? For USAans, it's good for land entry into US and proof of citizenship, but not good for air travel.
I'm waiting for an electronic passport that can be read/written at the most obscure border crossing. Not in my lifetime, though. (And I still print air boarding passes.)
We don't have passport card option (best for land borders I suppose). Our passports have also been downsized to 1 size (32 pages), while there used to be a 64 page options. Luckily, Vietnam have given up on the 1-page visas
Yuck. Not having an option for more pages is not great. especially for USAans since overseas embassies/consulates won't add pages anymore, as I understand it anyway. Countries should figure something out instead of stamps, though I guess that would disappoint people who travel less. And ASEAN! get busy on a common visa! Maybe stop fighting first.

A common visa would be great, also file under "hopefully in my lifetime"
