Have you had any issues getting Vietnam visas? Any luck with longer than 30 day, multiple entry? Still single entry, 30 day in the US unless of Vietnamese ethnicity, then 5 year. Hoping for return to 1 year, multi entry as before at less than exorbitant cost. Or ASEAN visa 🙄
As for flying dress code. think it is weird when dudes wear short shorts when flying, but ultimately it would be a nightmare for checking-in staff to have another thing for customers to be angry about.
Right! I was living and travelling in Europe in the 2000s more than anywhere else, and that era had a boom in low cost airlines that I wouldn't have heard of if i wasn't there.
We only even found it because we tried searching on some unusual airport pairings and up popped this name that sounded more like an insurance company than an airline.
Good round up, as usual.

Also, dress code when flying. Lol.
Getting a Vietnam visa is easier now that it is done online (so no visa queue at the airport) but it is still only 30 days and not extendable in-country. In news just in, the 3-month visa is coming back https://e.vnexpress.net/news/travel/vietnam-lawmakers-approve-extension-of-e-visa-validity-to-3-months-4621230.html

Yes, of course right after my posting I saw a news item about a 3 month visa.
Really want a ten year, multi entry, ASEAN wide, with automated entry lanes that work (looking at you SG), but not anytime soon, lol.
Yeah the Singapore experience ruins everywhere else afterwards!
We only discovered Transavia last year and I was amazed to learn how long it had been around!

Thanks for the shout-out on the Mani Greece article!
