Hua Lamphong to Hua Hin
Travel reads: Suva, Sumbawa, Europe's first wild river national park, the slow train to Patagonia, and planespotting from an onsen.
Hello from Hua Hin! I arrived in Bangkok this week, and for the first time since I can remember, my Tripit app was empty. I am scheduled to be in Bangkok at the end of next month, so I figured I will stay by the beach until then.
I got the slow train from Bangkok, which still departs from the old Hua Lamphong station (not the new station). So if you want to experience the grand old station of Bangkok, there is still a way.
The train to Hua Hin offers much nicer views than getting a van via the big highway.
I will publish some more guides and trip reports while I am in Hua Hin.
