I just got back from Greece and now I’m so sad I missed the beach towel revolt! I specifically went to the Peloponnese to avoid the majority of my fellow tourists, which kinda worked in that instead I found a billion Greek tourists. All of whom had unfortunately pre-booked every single sun lounger on every single beach, every single day. Long live towels on rock beaches I say!
Yeah I live in Perth so do agree. And while I adore Greece, it’s pretty hard to compare anything to Aussie beaches... Also love your newsletter, thanks for writing!
