My border-crossing experiences in Southeast Asia
[Travel Newsletter: 12 May 2023] Islands of Southeast Asia, Isle of Skye, cats of Japan, Nigeria, Vietnam by train , and more travel reads
Hello from Hua Hin! Even though I’m by the beach, I have islands on the brain. I wrote about air travel in Sumatra after planning a Sumatra trip, then I went down another rabbit hole by ranking island sizes (link below). This week’s article on Nomadic Notes also includes my recent island-hopping experience.
Travel reads this week include a great article about cats of Japan. I have seen more monkeys than cats in Hua Hin, but here is my favourite cat so far.
